Veyage Beacon Call Alerts Privacy Policy

Veyage Beacon Call Alerts is a browser extension for users of the Veyage Beacon web softphone at https://beacon.veyage.io.

Data handling

The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information or browsing data. It receives an incoming-call signal and caller display text from the Veyage Beacon page and uses that information only to show the alert locally in the user's browser.

The extension uses Chrome session storage only to retain the identifier of its temporary alert window. This allows the alert to close when ringing stops. The identifier remains on the user's device and is removed when the alert closes or the browser session ends.

Permissions

The extension runs only on https://beacon.veyage.io. It does not access other websites. It contains all executable code in the extension package and does not load or execute remote code.

Third parties

The extension does not transfer user data to third parties and does not use data for advertising, analytics, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to incoming-call alerts.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
